The World Environment Day Festival is on again this Sunday 1 June from 10am to 3pm at Knox Park, Murwillumbah.
The Caldera Environment Centre of Murwillumbah is coordinating a World Environment Day Celebration 2014 in KnoxPark on Sunday 1 June, 10 am to 3 pm. BirdLife Northern Rivers will again host an information tent. Please stop by or volunteer to share your knowledge and love of birds. It is a great day and the public are generally eager to share their observations and get help with bird ID. If you live too far away but interested see if your local area will be hosting an event and contact us on ideas to host your own table for the event.
The United Nations Environment Program has announced that the theme of this year’s World Environment Day will be Small Island Developing States. You can read more information at http://www.unep.org/wed/SIDS/about/
Hope you can make it.
